CYPRESS COLLEGE TUTORING RESOURCES FOR HIT STUDENTS /Fall 2021

• We provide math-based tutoring and English-based tutoring for all students, including Health Science students.

• We have developed some DLA’s (Directed Learning Activities) specific to the CTE and Health Science classes – We also have ESL conversation labs specifically for nursing students.

• Our science tutoring is in the top, most-used of our tutoring subjects.

• We also have SmartThinking tutoring program available for students virtually after hours, which covers Health Science subjects also.

• The LRC has virtual study rooms for students to use, and they are very popular with our Health Sciences students. When we can go back to being open on campus, hopefully we can re-open our in-person group study rooms for our students to reserve.
