A Cypress College photo ID or library card is required for all transactions. You can pick up a student ID on the first floor of the Student Complex. Staff and faculty library cards are on file in the library for all employees of Cypress College.
There are some limitations on what resources are accessible to non-Cypress College students. Community users may wish to purchase a library card for $12 per year and that allows community users to check out books from the main collection and items from our DVD collection.
A community user library card however does not provide access to group study rooms, reserve materials, textbooks, the campus WiFi, library computers, and/or library databases. You must be a currently enrolled Cypress College student to gain access to any of these resources.
The Cypress College Library has reciprocal borrowing agreements with Fullerton College, Orange Coast College, Golden West College, and Cal State Long Beach. Cypress College students may borrow materials with their Cypress College photo ID from these neighboring libraries. Students from Fullerton College, Golden West College, Orange Coast College, and Cal State Long Beach may also borrow materials from Cypress College with their current college ID cards. Students, faculty and staff from these colleges may also borrow materials from Cypress College with their current college ID cards.

Cypress College students, faculty, and staff are eligible for Interlibrary Loan (ILL) services when material is not readily available at the Cypress College Library through the library OneSearch.
